How to Send​

Step 1: Prepare Your Wallet​

  1. Ensure you have USDC in your Solana wallet
  2. Have a small amount of SOL for gas fees (< $0.01)
  3. Connect your wallet to reply.cash

Step 2: Initiate Payment​

  1. Open the reply.cash app
  2. Tap "Send" on the home screen
  3. Select "Local Payment Rails" or "Bank Transfer"
  4. Choose πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ Nigeria from the country list

Step 3: Enter Bank Details​

  1. Select "Bank Transfer" or "All Banks" as the payment method
  2. Enter the recipient's bank account number
  3. Select the recipient's bank name from the dropdown list
  4. Enter the recipient's account name (for verification)
  5. Enter the amount in NGN (or USD - it will auto-convert)
  6. Review the conversion rate and total
  7. Confirm the transaction

Step 4: Confirm and Send​

  1. Review all details:
    • Recipient's bank name and account number
    • Account name verification
    • Amount in NGN
    • Exchange rate
    • Total USDC to be deducted
    • Transaction fee
  2. Tap "Confirm" or "Send"
  3. Authenticate using your wallet (approve the transaction)
  4. Wait for confirmation (usually 1-2 seconds)

Step 5: Payment Settlement​

  • Payment is processed through the Nigerian banking network
  • Recipient receives funds in their bank account
  • You receive a receipt for your records
  • Recipient receives bank notification (if enabled)

What Recipients Need to Know​

For Bank Recipients​

  • Recipient must have an active bank account with the provided account number
  • Funds are deposited directly to their bank account
  • Processing time varies by bank (typically within minutes to a few hours)
  • Recipient receives bank SMS/email notification (if enabled)
  • No action required - funds are automatically deposited

Important Notes​

Bank Account Details​

  • Ensure the account number is correct (usually 10 digits)
  • Select the correct bank name from the list
  • Account name should match the registered account holder name
  • Double-check all details before confirming

Currency Conversion​

  • USDC is automatically converted to NGN at current exchange rates
  • Exchange rate is shown before confirmation
  • Conversion happens in real-time during the transaction

Transaction Fees​

  • Recipients receive the full amount - no fees deducted
  • Senders pay only blockchain gas fees (SOL, < $0.01)
  • No additional fees during initial growth phase

Limits and Restrictions​

  • Minimum transaction: NGN 100
  • Maximum transaction: NGN 1,000,000
  • Daily limits may apply based on recipient's account type
  • Ensure recipient's account can receive the amount

Troubleshooting​

Payment Failed​

  • Check that you have sufficient USDC and SOL in your wallet
  • Verify the bank account number is correct
  • Ensure the bank name matches the account
  • Check that the amount is within limits (NGN 100 - NGN 1,000,000)
  • Verify recipient's account is active

Recipient Didn't Receive Funds​

  • Verify the bank account number is correct

  • Exchange rates fluctuate - check the rate at time of transaction
  • Verify the amount you entered matches what was sent
  • Check transaction receipt for exact conversion details
